Geoff Ogilvy
2006 U.S. Open Champion Geoff Ogilvy is one of the hottest golfers in the world, currently ranked 8th in the world. Victories in the WGC World Matchplay Championship and defeat of Phil Mickelson in the U.S. Open Championship at Winged Foot Golf Club have elevated Geoff into the category of one of Australia’s greatest golfers. 2006 has been a breakthrough year for Geoff, and with one of the best swings on the PGA tour, expect even more sucess to come from this 29 year old in the future.

Tim Clark
With victories at the South African Airways Open and the Barclays Scottish Open in 2005, Tim Clark is one of the world’s leading golfers and is currently 14th in the world golf rankings. Six top-10 finishes on the PGA Tour in 2005 and a second appearance at the President's Cup capped off Tim’s most successful season to date. A runner-up finish to Phil Mickleson in this year’s Masters Tournament is just a sample of what’s to come in 2006. Tim may not be the longest player on tour, but his courage and will to never give up is an inspiration to all. The “Penguin,” as his friends know him, is just warming up, and his first victory on the PGA Tour is just around the corner.

Peter Senior
One of Australia’s most recognizable and most consistently successful players over the last 25 years, Peter has played all over the world with tournament victories in Australia, Japan and Europe. Since turning professional in 1978, Peter has recorded 26 tournament victories, winning four titles in Europe, three in Japan and 19 in Australia.
Always the family man, Peter has cut back his international playing schedule to spend more time with family in Australia, but with the U.S. PGA Senior Tour not far away, look out for the name of Peter Senior to appear on tournament leaderboards in the U.S. in the near future. |
